11 Things God Can Do For You
He Can Give You Hope

Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace
to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.  1 Peter 1:13

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed
away, and there was no longer any sea.  I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down
out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.  And I
heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will
live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.  
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or
pain, for the old order of things has passed away."  Revelation 21:1-4

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.  
Hebrews 10:23
He Can Give You Joy

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name.  Ask and you will receive, and your joy
will be complete.  John 16:24

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you
believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the
goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.  1 Peter 1:8-9

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace
and joy in the Holy Spirit.  Romans 14:17
He Can Provide For You

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your
body, what you will wear.  Is not life more important than food, and the body more important
than clothes?  Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns,
and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.  Are you not much more valuable than they?  Who
of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?  Matthew 6:25-27

The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining
all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the
right hand of the Majesty in heaven.  Hebrews 1:3

He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever— holy and
awesome is his name.  Psalm 111:9
He Can Give You Salvation

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.  Luke 19:10

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of
righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.  He saved us through the washing of
rebirth and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus
Christ our Savior.  Titus 3:4-5

For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus
Christ.  1 Thessalonians 5:9
He Can Forgive You

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through
Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.  
Romans 8:1-2

Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil
behavior.  But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present
you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation.  Colossians 1:21-22

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the
riches of God's grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.  
Ephesians 1:7-8
He Can Correct You

Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. For
he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal.  Job 5:17-18

Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our
good, that we may share in his holiness.  No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.
 Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have
been trained by it.  Hebrews 12:10-11

Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent.  Revelation 3:19
